MLF SUMMER CAMP HISTORY
MLF Summer Camp was founded on the Gospel of Matthew 25:35 to inspire our youth to continue Christ’s mission to love and serve the least of His people. Through service and activities, youth develop awareness, empathy, and creative solutions for helping those in their communities and around the world.
S*E*R*V*E Those Who S*E*R*V*E
At this camp, campers learned about the challenges faced by veterans, service-people, and their families and how we can honor them through meeting their basic needs and showing them dignity. Campers saw that to fight the world’s evils and hardships, we must Pray, Prepare, Trust, Stand, and Serve.
Fling Open the Doors!
Camp focused on the belief that God is asking us to “fling open our doors” to all in our neighborhoods, communities and beyond. To answer His call, we welcome all others not with judgment, but with dignity, respect and love.

When I was Hungry...
In My Shoes. This summer, campers will step into the shoes of others of all ages, and learn about their life stories, the challenges they face, and their ongoing hopes. Campers will walk away with a greater awareness of diverse life situations, and will be empowered to make positive changes in their world each and every day.
